President
Chris Coggins is the Founder and Managing Partner of The Tax Office, Inc. and is licensed to represent clients before the IRS as an Enrolled Agent. He has over 35 years accounting and tax experience. He has held licenses in the Real Estate, Insurance and Financial Planning Professions and is a Certified Quick Books Pro Advisor.
Lani Coggins
Business Advisor
Lani is a Certified Tax Coach, which translates into providing proactive tax strategies for you and your business. Lani has over 15 years experience in tax and has been a partner since 1998. Her strong client focus plus her tax credentials give Lani an edge in designing business and personal tax plans that not only reduce taxes, but truly help her clients.
Dawn Barber
Human Resources Payroll and Benefits Specialist
Dawn joined the Secure Payroll team in 2012 and works with our bookkeeping and payroll clients.
Dawn graduated Magna Cum Laude from National University with a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy.
Dawn is a QuickBooks™ Online Certified ProAdvisor, an Intacct Certified Services Provider, and a Bill.com Expert. She is also a Member of the American Payroll Association.
Two of Dawn’s favorite activities are reading and hiking.
Brian Coggins
Director
Brian L. Coggins is the founder of Coggins Law in Roseville, California. He focuses his practice on business law and estate planning; in addition Mr. Coggins has experience in construction law, tax and real estate law.
Prior to attending law school, Mr. Coggins worked as an accountant and tax preparer with such companies as Harley Davidson. He grew up in Sacramento, attending Jesuit High School (1993) and California State University, Sacramento. He currently lives in Rocklin with his wife, Jessica and their two children, Nicolas and Ellie.
